25.03.2017 The Comments of the Institute for Law and Public Policy in connection with the release of the program Accident. Investigation (Chrezvychaynoye proisshestviye. Rassledovaniye)

On March 24, 2017 at 6.35 p.m. NTV channel broadcast live the program Accident. Investigation: Eurocollectors (Chrezvychaynoye proisshestviye. Rassledovaniye: Evrocollectory), in which the activities of the Institute for Law and Public Policy and its employees were presented in a distorted form.

Since 1993 the Institute for Law and Public Policy has conducted research, publishing and educational activities in the field of studying and evaluating constitutional processes in Russia and in the world. The Institute's activities are carried out openly and in accordance with the law. The annual reports on the Institute's budget are posted on the website of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.

Since 2015 the Institute has been implementing the project Enhancing Civic Engagement in Strategic Constitutional Litigation in Russia with the support of the European Union. The full information about the project is available on our website.

The expert opinion on the case of the possibility of the execution of the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights dated July 31, 2014 in the case of OAO Yukos Oil Company v. Russia was prepared by the Institute at the request of a judge of the Russian Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. The Institute participated in the session of the Constitutional Court on this case at the invitation of the Constitutional Court.
