08.02.2017 The Webinar on the Criteria for the Admissibility of the Complaint to the Russian Constitutional Court was held on January 31, 2017

On January 31, 2017 Gregory Vaypan and Olga Podoplelova held a webinar of the series The Current Constitutional and International Justice on Criteria for the Admissibility of the Complaint to the Russian Constitutional Court for the regional partners of the Institute for Law and Public Policy.

The webinar was organized within the project Enhancing Civic Engagement in Strategic Constitutional Litigation in Russia.

 

The trainers of the webinar:

Vaypan Gregory, head of the judicial practice of the Institute;

Olga Podoplelova, Senior Lawyer of the Institute.

The participants of the webinar learnt:

• the requirements of the Federal Constitutional Law On the Russian Constitutional Court applicable to appeals;

• typical applicants’ errors when applying to the Russian Constitutional Court;

• the algorithm of specific cases analysis to determine the prospects of applying to the Russian Constitutional Court.

The webinar was attended by 15 lawyers and trainers of the ILPP regional partners (Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk).
